While the tofu is crispy and slightly seasoned, it does still benefit from a sauce, such as Peanut Sauce, my Almond Butter Glaze, a Curry Sauce, or my Garlic Dill Sauce.

The ingredients needed to make Crispy Tofu:
- Take Abura-age (Fried Thin Tofu)
- Make ready Salt *optional
- Take Sesame Oil *optional

Instructions to make Crispy Tofu:
- Wrap Abura-age with paper towel and warm in microwave. Then gently press it to remove excess oil. *Note: You can do this process using a frying pan.
- Cut Abura-age into small pieces or strips. You may wish to season with Salt. Stir-fry in a frying pan over medium low heat until slightly browned and crispy. A small amount of Sesame Oil can add extra flavour.
- *Note: Do not over-cook it as it will become crumbly.
- Crispy Tofu can be added to a variety of Salads, or enjoy with your favourite condiment or sauce.
- With Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes), Spring Onion and Soy Sauce
- With Kimchi, Spring Onion and Toasted Sesame Seeds
Serve with any of your favorite dips, like Thai peanut sauce or teriyaki. So, bake your tofu in the oven to crispy perfection, then cook it in sauce, or drizzle sauce on top. This tofu is perfect for tossing into any recipe with Asian flavors, or any recipe that could benefit from some hearty vegetarian protein. It would be great in my Thai red curry or green curry. Coating the tofu in cornstarch and then pan frying give the exterior a crisp texture really makes this dish.
