  4. Once cooked well add chopped tomatoes and mix.Also add salt, turmeric powder,red chilli powder. Mix nicely. And let it cook on low heat.
  5. After the vegetables are cooked well add dalia (drain water from dalia and save water as it will be utilized)
  6. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup water and mix.
  7. Cook for 5 to 5 minutes on low heat.
  8. Adjust salt and consistency. Switch off the heat.
  9. Serve hot adding fresh coriander leaves.

Peas and potatoes are often used in most vegetable dalia recipes. You can also add some mung lentils in this dalia khichdi.
